This building project in Sellia, Apokoronas concerns the construction of 3 independent and detached villas with private pools and gardens in a plot of 1560 m2. The aim is to take advantage of the lavishly green forest views and mountainous landscape and offer a design that combines a modern and light style with some traditional Cretan building elements like the local stone. The houses
The project offers three independent villas with private pools.
Two 111 m2 villas set in a private plot of 400 m2 and 500 m2 respectively. With three spacious bedrooms, two bathrooms and a big open plan kitchen and a living room these villas are very comfortable and convenient. Provisions for people with mobility difficulties have been predicted and can be made upon request. The pools will be 22 m2 big
One 120 m2 villa set in a private plot of 420 m2. This is a villa of 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, an open plan kitchen and a living room. There is plenty of outdoor space and a private pool. An old stone threshing floor can be used as a decorative feature. This house also offers provisions for people with mobility difficulties.

Price
The final price can vary depending on the needs of the buyer. Our affordable standard edition includes:

  • the plot and the plan
  • the building permit

Any engineer fees (supervision and plans) if no alterations are made and the final inspection fee of the state auditor the structure exactly as it looks on the pictures outside and inside with:

  • beautifully landscaped gardens as in the pictures.

The location
The location of the project was not chosen by chance. Sellia is a small village set in abundantly green surroundings in the heart of nature. Tall evergreen trees and olive groves surround the plot offering a vibrant sense of life all year round. The sound of birds rather than cars is a prevalent characteristic of the area.
The village is close to local facilities like restaurants and shops, just a short drive of less than five minutes away. Local beaches are in great proximity too, providing various options as a summer getaway. The big cities of Chania and Rethymno are within easy reach, approximately 30 to 40 minutes away. The international airport of Chania is 40 minutes away while the port of Souda is 25 minutes.

The village of Sellia belongs to the municipality of Apokoronas in Chania and sits at an altitude of 320 meters above sea level. It is located midway between Chania and Rethymno and close to several other villages. Vamos, with its tavernas, shops, bank and health centre is only 5 km away. The tourist resort of Georgioupolis, with its widely known beaches, is only 12 minutes down the hill. Here you will find one of the best beaches in the area, Kalivaki, a sandy cove near the harbour, unique for its cold water stream that makes for a refreshing swim on even the hottest days.
