Ο Άγιος Ονούφριος είναι ένα μικρό παραθαλάσσιο χωριό στο Ακρωτήρι, το οποίο βρίσκεται 8 χλμ. βόρεια των Χανίων και κοντά στο χωριό Κουνουπιδιανά. Το χωριό αποτελεί ουσιαστικά προάστιο των Χανίων, καθώς βρίσκεται πολύ κοντά στην πόλη. Ονομάζεται από το μικρό εκκλησάκι δίπλα στην παραλία, αφιερωμένο στον Άγιο Ονούφριο, το οποίο γιορτάζει στις 12 Ιουνίου.
Η παραλία του Αγίου Ονούφριου είναι ήσυχη και κρυμμένη σε έναν καλά προστατευμένο όρμο. Έχει αμμώδη βότσαλα και δεν είναι πολύ οργανωμένη, προτιμάται κυρίως από τους κατοίκους της ευρύτερης περιοχής.
