Meike grew up and graduated in Biotechnology in Germany. She lived, studied and worked in Spain, Australia and Greece and finally decided to install herself with her family in Crete 10 years ago. She started to work in Holiday Rentals and is the CEO of her own company “Kali Zoé” exporting Cretan products to Germany and France. Since 2019 Meike works for CostAnitaVillas as a sales manager and Cretan Real Estate Consultant.

Anita grew up outside of Sydney, Australia and has been in the hospitality trade for many years. Anita and her mother Janelle had 2 very successful country Hotels in Kent, U.K for a period of 10yrs. With her experience she is the perfect person to help you find your rental property if you want to stay long term in Crete or a stunning place for you to enjoy your holiday in Crete.
Matt Wilson

Matt comes to us from the hospitality industry where he and his wife ran a successful hotel, prior to that he worked as a senior District Manager for the Dollar Financial Group working in the US, Canada, UK and southern Ireland. He earned his degree from the University of Southampton, UK in 2003 and has more than 15 years of managerial and operational experience. Matt has lived in Crete with his family for 5 years and joined our team at CostAnitaVillas as a Cretan real estate market manager.

Maria was born and raised in Chania, studied in Wales and worked in the UK for 16 years then moved back to Crete in 2014. She has managed the sales and development in the financial sector and hospitality industry. She chose the Apokoronas area for buying a home and raising a family. CostanitaVillas is a family business run and owned by local businessman Kosta Krasaki and his Australian wife Anita.
As Kosta is a local guy, growing up in Chania, Gavalochori and Almyrida he has extensive knowledge of the local area and a good idea of property opportunities that are available.
Kosta started out working in hospitality for his family business. At the age of 10 years old he began working as a labourer for a local builder to pass the winter months until the Taverna reopened. He realised early on that general maintenance was an ongoing part of hospitality and decided to take on the responsibility himself. He learned the skills of general maintenance and was doing all kinds of repairs with either wood, metal or plumbing. He has been in and out of the building industry ever since.
Kosta’s first major project was building the family home in Almyrida. The following project was 2 luxury villas in Gavalochori and then on to another traditional villa in Gavalochori which was completely renovated and sub divided into 2 separate dwellings.
Kosta’s experience in the building trade grew after meeting Anita. Every winter they travel back to Australia were Kosta works as a carpenter/builder increasing his level of skill. Whether it be building Villas in Crete or luxury homes in Australia, Kosta is always ready to take on a new project.
Anita grew up outside of Sydney, Australia and has been in the hospitality trade for many years. Starting out as a Pizza Chef way back when she was 14yrs old she has now worked in 3 different countries running busy Wine Bars, Cafs, Pubs Hotels and Tavernas.
Anita and her mother Janelle had 2 very successful country Hotels in Kent, U.K for a period of 10yrs. Both had B+B facilities, one hotel with 8 letting rooms and the other with 18 letting rooms. It was Anita’s involvement in the maintenance, renovating and decorating aspect of this side of the business that started Anita thinking about the property industry.
And so CostanitaVillas was created.

Kostas is one of the few developers who grew up in the Almyrida area. As such he has in depth knowledge of the local land and all the best places to build. He is also well known, liked and trusted in the community with both local Greeks and Non Greek residents.
Kostas previously worked for one of Australia’s top carpentry firms working with new materials and learning all the latest building methods. He gained an Australian perspective on unique and individual building styles and detail which he likes to incorporate into his projects.
Kosta is well respected and grew up with most of the contractors in the area. All the local quality tradesmen are happy to work along side our team. This assures our clients that they will not only get the best price but also a quality construction from every tradesman.
Kostas and the design team are always thinking “outside the box”. They have extensive knowledge of modern materials and unique styles that are used in building today.
Our construction team are experienced in all types of work from renovating older properties to building traditional stone villas, modern houses, as well as commercial buildings.
